Letting Go

This time of year emphasizes goal setting.

But there’s something so crucial we’re always forgetting.

To set New Years goals we’re excited about.

Goals that make 2013 the start of a whole new route!

But while your start might be strong

It may not be long

Before your old habits and behaviors that you KNOW are wrong,

Start creeping back.

What’s your plan of attack?

To make more excuses? Or get back on track.

Or cut yourself some slack?

Busy days catch up quickly, sending thoughts into a spin.

Throwing away your hope like trash into a garbage bin.

So you lose sight of your goals and keep trudging along,

And before you know it, another year is gone.

That doesn’t have to happen again,

Your resolution game is definitely one you can win.

But before you move forward, release what holds you back.

Because letting go allows you to get your life back on track.

Ring in a new year.

Free from the fear.

Think of all the negativity you’re holding so near –

Bad relationships, jobs, or habits making your future unclear.

Instead of goal setting, Let go setting.

Dr. Suess said:

“You’ll be on your way up!

You’ll be seeing great sights!

You’ll join the high fliers

who soar to high heights.”

Ready, set, let go.

Make a list of 3 things you want to let go of and email them to me.

I will hold you accountable, you will see.

Your action steps and purpose will become crystal clear.

And you’ll release your old causes of frustrations and fears.

Because less clutter in your life means more desires can appear.

Let go,

And your life will flow.
